Why the Rocket League overlay runs on your PC, not online
Rocket League sends its match stats to a local address on the PC. A recent browser blocks an online website from reaching that address, so the overlay has to be served from your own PC, as local files.
- 01
Open the configuration file
In the game's install folder, under TAGame then Config, open DefaultStatsAPI.ini with administrator rights.
- 02
Turn on stats sending
Set PacketSendRate to 30. At 0, the game sends nothing and the overlay can't see the match.
- 03
Restart the game
The setting is read when Rocket League starts.
- 04
Load the overlay locally
Add the overlay page as a browser source using “Local file”, not an online address.
